Igor Samolet (b.1984, Kotlas, Russia) is a contemporary Russian artist who uses in his work the possibilities of a new visual language and multimedia technologies. In 2013, he graduated from the Rodchenko Art School. Igor Lives and works in Moscow. In the period from 2018 to 2020 he was a member of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art grant program. In 2019, Igor Samolet became a laureate of the Credit Suisse and Cosmoscow awards for young artists. He has participated in many international art festivals, including the 7th Hamburg Triennial of Photography in 2018, the FOTO WIEN festival, the Circulation(s) festival of young European photography and others.
