Maria Staroselets-Kalmykova is a multidisciplinary creator with 15 years of experience in projects in both Russia and Worldwide. Maria graduated from Moscow State University (philosophy) and the University of California (film directing). She works with various forms of performing arts, including site-specific, immersive, and multisensory performances, circus shows and festivals, film and multimedia exhibitions. Topics that are especially interesting to develop in creative projects are the transforming power of imagination, questions of human self-knowledge, social mechanisms, as well as the search for Truth and Beauty.
