Leonid Kharlamov
Germany

Leonid Kharlamov was born in Leningrad in 1981. Now he lives in Hamburg. He is an artist and curator. He is also a founder of the international project which is called Quarantäne, the ONSpace Gallery (Schlecker) (Kiel, Germany), and the Underdog Gallery (Hamburg, Germany). He describes his artistic activity as "emotional conceptualism". He is engaged in understanding social processes through the prism of art history and mythology. Leonid cooperates with Russian and German artists, creating conditions of clash of cultures and mentalities. Kharlamov took part in the 2nd Triennial of Russian Contemporary Art in 2020 and the XIII Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennial in 2019. His works are in the collection of the Museum Center "Ploshchad Mira" (Krasnoyarsk).
