Vassily Kononov-Gredin (b. 1990) has graduated from Vyatka Art College and studies at the BAZA Contemporary Art Institute (Moscow). In 2019–20 he has been the recipient of the Garage Museum grant for young artists in the field of contemporary art.

In his work, Vassily approaches large forms and the total installation. He works with sculpture, video, objects, painting, scents, and sound. The combination of various media allows for the comprehensive effect on the viewer.
