“Turo” means “tower” in Esperanto. 
The film explores post-Soviet geography and constructivist architecture; for the artist, modernism is an attempt to erect a modern Tower of Babel; a ruined, fragmentary project doomed to failure. 
The film consists of a preface and four chapters; we screen it in its entirety, while the third chapter entitled The Babylonian Detour is presented within the main exhibition 'Thinking Hands Touching Each Other.'
